What happens during a treatment?
Step 1. The consultation
During the consultation we will look carefully at your particular situation. We will explain to you the different techniques, discuss which treatment might best suit your needs and what your options are for the height of your hairline, the hair growth direction and its volume.
Step 2. Donor material
First we prepare the donor area for transplantation with a local anesthetic. In case of FUE the follicular units are extracted one by one from the donor area with a hollow needle. The needles we use in order to loosen the follicular units are only 0.5 mm to 0.75 mm thick. The donor area heals quickly because we work with smaller needles than most clinics use. The follicular units are transplanted without changing the structure of the hair. This provides you with a very natural result, even with frizzy hair!
Step 3. The reinsertion of the hair
In the areas where hair is transplanted, We use a very small needle to make channels in the skin areas wherein the hair is transplanted. Next, the follicular units are transplanted one by one into these prepared channels. In doing so we put the follicular units in the correct direction in order to achieve a transition with the existing hair as natural as possible. The transplanted follicular units will grow embedded into the new location d within a few days.
Step 4. Aftercare & supervision
Following your treatment, we schedule a check-up and collaborate with you to monitor the progress and results. After nine to twelve months you will visit the clinic once more for a final check. At that point you can compare the pictures. We will conclude your treatment and close your file not until we are completely satisfied with the achieved results.
